Baby Sue

We're lifting up baby Sue Ouma today (who has a hole in her heart):

"Give her a new heart and put a new spirit within her; take out her heart of stone, and give her a heart of flesh.  Rebuild that which is broken within her.  Touch and heal her body, God."

Her parents, Pastor James and Caroline Ouma, will take her to a surgeon this week for a consultation.

They pastor at AGC Kisugu, and this seems to be part of the enemy's schemes to attack God's anointed leaders.

August Prayer Updates

 Ministry Praises and Prayer Requests

  • Please pray for  Jonathan and Lisa Mayo and their boys as they return to Uganda in less than a  week. They will arrive next Monday morning and will jump immediately into  staff orientation at Heritage International School and field responsibilities.
  • Scott and Meg Rambo will be flying to Tanzania on August 14 to do  an intensive 3-week language course in Swahili. Pray for good health for the  whole family as well as a good grasp of Swahili.
  • Pray for James and Caroline Ouma and their family. James pastors  the Kisugu AGC church here in Kampala, and Caroline works in the field  business office. Their 15-month old daughter was diagnosed last week with  pneumonia, and the pediatrician suspects that she may have a hole in her heart  which is keeping her from getting adequate oxygen. Sue has not started to walk  yet, and James and Caroline have been concerned about her for some time. They  are taking her for an echocardiogram today.
  • Please pray for  Heritage International School as they are working to fill all the gaps for the  coming academic year. Pray for the men and women that the Lord would want to  fill the positions and for direction to those who are working on  this.
  • Continue to pray for Billy and Joanna Coppedge as  well as their girls, born and unborn, for God’s hand of protection and  health.
  • The Uganda field has an urgent need for a business manager/treasurer. We have a possible volunteer in the pipeline for this  position. Pray for all of the details to be worked out.
  • Michael and Brenda and Luke Guilliams welcomed baby Josiah into their family on July 7 and all are  doing well. Pray for the Guilliams family as they begin packing up and getting  ready to fly to the States at the end of August. Also pray for Josiah’s  paperwork to be completed in time for their scheduled flight.
  • John and Beth Muehleisen and Jennipher  Wasirimba (CHE coordinator) will be leading a CHE training in Busia the third  week of August. Pray for the Lord’s anointing on them as they teach and on the  participants as they learn to think in new ways.
Please pray for the physical & spiritual health of the missionaries & their families.
