Field Declaration

Based on Psalm 37 (NLT)

We decree that we will seek Jesus first so that through His holy love, lives, churches, and communities are transformed. We will put our hope in the Lord and travel steadily along His path. He will honor us by giving us the land, and we will see the wicked destroyed. In the Name of Jesus we rebuke satan as a thief and liar. In the Name of Jesus we reclaim the territory (lives, health, churches, communities, land, buildings, vehicles, finances, families, and marriages) that rightfully belong to God. We will no longer allow satan to steal, kill and destroy. We will no longer allow satan to steal our faith or our inheritance.

We decree the release of resources to reclaim the territory; finances(the approved budget for 2012-2013 as well as missionary ministry funds), land, houses, urban center, and vehicles.

We decree the release of at least 42 missionaries in the next 10 years to cover the expansion of Uganda, South Sudan, DRC, Burundi, Rwanda, and Tanzania. We decree the release of 1000 missionaries from the church and university ministries to reach out across the world. We refuse to allow satan to block their calling, their funding, their going, or their continued obedience. We pray this in the mighty Name of Jesus.

We refuse to allow any spirit of division and complaining to affect the mission God has given us. No weapon formed against us shall prosper. By the blood of Jesus Christ, the author and finisher of our faith, and by His Holy Name, we make this decree.

First Monday Fast

A quick reminder, confession, and encouragement:

It was mentioned at Annual General Meeting, that the first Monday of the month is a designated field fasting day (you can fast food, all food, just a meal, fast from media- give up something in order to pray more today).  I am not good at fasting.  But I want to take up the challenge and see how God will move.  I don't want my lack of self-discipline to hinder the work He is longing to do here.  So, here is the encouragement I found today:

"At the heart of the gospel is a cross.  The spirit of Christ is a spirit of self-sacrifice.  The cross, self-sacrifice, self-denial, and fasting are all interrelated.  It is the spirit of putting God first, of seeking God's will and eternal goals, of taking up your cross daily and following Christ.  At the heart of the sanctified life is a crisis of crucifixion, of self-surrender, and of total commitment followed by a crucified life.  The Spirit-filled believer should find joy in fasting for kingdom goals." -Wesley Duewel, Touch the World through Prayer

Will you fast for the ministry in Uganda today?  Leave a comment to let us know you are standing with us.  It would be an encouragement!
