September Prayer Requests

Ministry Praises and Prayer Requests
  • Pray for 168 prayer partners who will commit to praying for 1 hour each week for Uganda.
  • Pray for AGC Uganda as they also begin to recruit people in the local churches to sign up for 1 hour each week to pray.
  • Christine Stanfield, Miria Mukisa, and Winnie Mugisha, traveled to Busia for special meetings with the women the weekend of August 16 and 17. They praise the Lord for a good time of ministry with the Busia ladies and for God’s protection as they traveled to and from Kampala.
  • Please pray for the Hopsons as they travel throughout their time of HMA and for the kids as they stay at home sometimes.
  • A number of missionaries are on Home Ministry Assignment now. Pray for those left on the field and for those who are in the States raising their support to return.
  • Pray for the pastors and their families in AGC Uganda. Several are struggling with marital issues.
  • John and Beth report that the training in South Sudan went very well. John also had the privilege of helping to baptize a new Christian lady that attended the training with people from her church.
  • Jeff and Christine Stanfield are preparing to go to Burundi along with Rick Morse the last week of September to start a series of Community Health Empowerment trainings for the Burundi Parables Church. Pray for God to open the eyes of the participants to see their communities the way He sees them, and that they will be given a God-sized vision that they are willing to embrace to bring transformation to their communities.
  • Heritage International School has begun a new school year. Pray for the Spiritual Emphasis weeks that will be held for the students. A team from Ireland arrived this morning and will be speaking in the chapel services for the younger students next week, September 2-6.
  • Pray for Pastor Wilson and his family as his daughter is struggling with some health issues.
  •  The Coppedge family and the Stanfields are in Kenya this week.  They will be participating in a training session this week at Tenwek Hospital for Simply the Story.
  •  Pray for more women students to be drawn to United Faith Chapel ministries at Kampala International University.
Are you willing to be one of the 168 who will commit to praying for one hour a week? Leave a comment or e-mail us at socialmedia (at) wgmuganda (dot) org
