Ministry Highlight: The Print Shop

Kenneth is always very busy in ‘The Print Shop’. Printing equipment was donated so Kenneth has been able to expand his printing ministry which has turned out to be a valuable printing ministry, printing Christian literature for WGM and other mission organizations in Uganda and also for ministries in other countries in Africa.  He has been printing for the Summer Institute of Linguistics (SIL), a branch of Wycliffe Bible Translators in Uganda and in Sudan, just north of Uganda.  He has also been printing Christian materials for ministries coming here from the U.S. and organizations such as MAF Uganda, MAF Scotland and Precept Ministries in South Africa.  The materials Kenneth has been printing for SIL Uganda and SIL Sudan are to help different tribes in Uganda and Sudan to learn their language in print (sometimes these books are the first ones in their languages) with the ultimate goal of sharing Christ to these remote tribes.

Kenneth also wears many other hats besides “Printer” on the field.  For most of the last two terms he was the WGM Kampala Team leader, and for many years has been the coordinator for all the security guards who work at our missionary’s homes.  He was relieved of those ministries shortly before we returned to the U.S.A. for this Home Ministry Assignment.  He purchases Bibles in many different languages for the AGC (Africa Gospel Church) pastors and church congregations to purchase cheaply, he visits our Africa Gospel Churches as often as possible and is always building relationships with our Ugandan pastors. He wants to share the love of Jesus to many in printed form and through close relationships with the Ugandans.

Delight is always very busy being a wife, a mother of 3 and doing the many ministries she is involved in!  She has been the WGM field hostess for the Uganda field for all the teams and individuals who come to Uganda to minister throughout the year and she has been the WGM field secretary.  She was able to hand over those ministries before leaving for Home Ministry Assignment. She helps in the print shop and is the Head Librarian at Heritage International School, where our 3 children attend school.  She is involved in building relationships with the wives of the Ugandan pastors and other women in Uganda.
